I'm Dr Haleemah X (PhD), an interdisciplinary artist and scholar, and the founder of Rapping Heifer—an independent musical film production company dedicated to creating bold, original work on its own terms.

Rapping Heifer exists because I wanted the freedom to make the art and scholarship I truly believe in, without being constrained by external expectations or creative compromise. It is a home for ambitious, interdisciplinary storytelling that values curiosity, experimentation and artistic integrity. And, if we're being completely honest, I was never especially good at conforming in the first place.
